Comparison
A GTO Wizard alternative you actually own.
GTO Wizard is a browser tool built on a large pre-computed solution library, sold as a subscription. It's excellent at what it does: fast lookups against solutions someone else has already run.
IkaSolver is the other model. It's a desktop solver you buy once and own. You build the tree, you run the solve, the output is yours and it stays on your machine. If the spot you care about isn't in anyone's library — a 7-handed PKO with multiplier tiers, a Stand-Up game with a specific marker configuration — you can just solve it.

Rent vs own
A subscription is a fine deal while you're paying. The question is what you have on the day you stop. With IkaSolver you keep the software, every simulation you've ever run, and every future update. Two licences — $199 for NLHE and the trainer, $1,199 for Squid and Stand-Up as well — and nothing recurring.
Do the arithmetic against whatever you'd pay monthly. For most serious players a perpetual licence pays for itself within the first year or two.
Your trees, not a library
Pre-computed libraries are fast because the decisions were made in advance — bet sizes, rake, stack depths, player count. That's a feature until your spot falls outside the grid. IkaSolver has no grid. Set your own bet sizings per position and street, your own stack depths, your own rake, 2 to 9 players, and solve it. See creating a tree.
Formats a library can't cover
Progressive-bounty and Stand-Up games have a combinatorial explosion of configurations — bounty size, multiplier thresholds, split payment, marker counts, player count. No pre-computed library can cover that space. Solving it yourself is the only route, and IkaSolver models those payoffs natively. Read the Squid poker strategy guide for how bounties change correct play.
No connection required
Once a sim is solved it's a local file. Study it on a plane. Train against it with no connection. Nothing phones home to show you your own work.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free version of IkaSolver?
Yes: a browser demo with the real interface, real pre-computed strategies and a working trainer. No account required.
How powerful does my computer need to be?
A modern multi-core CPU and 8 GB RAM will get you going; 16 GB+ is recommended for large trees. Or run the engine on a rented server and connect from anything.
Can I use IkaSolver on more than one machine?
Each purchase includes 2 licence keys, 1 device each, and you can deactivate and move a device from your dashboard.
Do I have to pay again for updates?
No. Updates are included permanently — the licence is a one-time purchase.
